In Jyotish, the planets (the grahas) aren't distant judges handing down a fate. They're the forces at work inside you — drive and doubt, discipline and hunger, the pull to reach out and the instinct to hold back. The five elements — earth, water, fire, air and space — are your particular weather. Put together, they are your make-up — the person every question is really about.
