The reading · IV

Work with the cause. Bend the effect.

Understanding is only half of it. If you can see the cause beneath a pattern, you can do something about the effect. That is what remedies are — not spells against fate, but conscious course-correction.

Two kinds of remedies

  • Outer remedies (the traditional upayas) — simple practices like mantra (a repeated chant), gemstones, small rituals, giving and service, fasting, or working with colour. Honoured in the tradition — and, if you're more sceptical, they still work as steady habits that shift your attention, your mood, and your behaviour. Nothing supernatural needed.
  • Inner remedies — awareness, mindset, and habit; reaching the root of a pattern the way inner and regression work do. This is where Pragyanam joins hands with How to Live Life.

A helping hand, not a bribe

Remedies here are never about bribing a planet or warding off doom. They are careful ways to work with your make-up and your causes — small, steady adjustments that change your direction over time. You are not escaping cause and effect. You are learning to steer within it.

Please note: Pragyanam offers guidance for self-understanding and conscious living. It is not a substitute for medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice, and no outcome is guaranteed.
